Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy Ann McClenny, is an actress from the United States. She began acting in the late 1970s and early 1980s and has since been in a number of television shows. From 1973 through 1977, she appeared as Jennifer Pace in the C.B.S. daytime soap serial Search for Tomorrow. Among the actress’s works are the C.B.S. television drama Paper Dolls and the sitcom Murphy Brown, in which the actress’s guest role as the character Julie St. Martin earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
In addition to her career as an actress, Fairchild has long been active in the Screen Actors Guild-now called SAG-AFTRA. Now, she is a Guild board member who has worked on a variety of committees, including co-chairing the Legislative Committee, the National Executive Committee, the SAG-AFTRA Relations Committee, and the Commercials Contracts Committee.
