Elizabeth Alice MacGraw is an actress and activist from the United States. She rose to prominence as an actress after starring in the film Goodbye, Columbus, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Most Promising Newcomer.  She later also gained international fame for her role in the American romantic drama film Love Story, which led to her fame being skyrocketed, and ending up with a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress, and her taking home the Golden Globes Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.

Not long after, despite having been in three films only, she was voted as the top female box office star in the world. In fact, the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood has conducted a hand and footprints ceremony for the actress. Among other well-known actors and actresses that have done a ceremony in the theater are Clint Eastwood, John Travolta, directors George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, and many more others.
