Erika Eleniak, born on September 29, 1969, is an American actress, former model, and Playboy Playmate. The now-52 years old actress is best known for her role as Shauni McClain in the original 1989 Baywatch series, acting alongside reputable actors and actresses such as David Hasselhof and Pamela Anderson. Her film debut was in a small role in Steven Spielberg’s now-iconic E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial. She went on to star in The Blob, Under Siege, and The Beverly Hillbillies, among other films.

Erika Eleniak was born in the city of Glendale in the state of California. Despite being born and raised in the U.S., her parents aren’t entirely American. Her father, Dale Alan Eleniak, is of Ukrainian descent, and her mother, Iris Maya Arnold, is of Estonian-German descent. Her paternal great-grandfather is also credited for being one of the earliest Ukrainians to immigrate to Canada.
