BOB BARKER | 98 years old
Robert William Barker is a retired television game show host from the United States. From 1972 until 2007, he was the host of C.B.S.’s The Price Is Right, which was the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history. From 1956 through 1975, he was the host of Truth or Consequences. Barker is also famous for hosting multiple Miss Universe and Miss U.S.A. pageants from 1967 to 1987, further contributing to his reputation as a television personality.
Barker was born in Darrington, Washington, on December 12, 1923, and spent much of his childhood on the Rosebud Indian Reservation near Mission, South Dakota. While attending high school in Missouri, Barker met his future wife, Dorothy Jo Gideon, during an Ella Fitzgerald concert, with the two beginning to date shortly after, when he was 15 years old. Now 97 years old, Barker initially retired in 2007 and is currently staying in his estate in Los Angeles with lots of free time, seemingly spending his time watching military movies.
