Sissy Spacek | 72 years old
Commended with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011, Sissy Spacek is given credit for winning several awards, including three Golden Globe Awards, an Academy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She also received several nominations in Primetime Emmy Awards, British Academy Film Awards, and Grammy Awards. In her early career, Spacek aspired to become a recording artist and recorded a song titled John, You Went Too Far This Time in 1968 under the name Rainbo.
With less success in the musical arena, she focused on acting and enrolled at the Lee Strasberg and Film Institute. Soon after, she started her professional acting career in the early 1970s. Spacek’s breakthrough role was in the crime film Badlands in 1973, and it gave her career a boost that propelled her to international prominence. From there, her career soared to great heights, and she starred in numerous cinematic films and television movies. In 2018, Spacek starred in a movie titled The Old Man and the Gun, opposite Hollywood actor Robert Redford.
