Kidman studied performing arts in different acting schools while Roberts went to Georgia State University but dropped out to pursue an acting career. Their branding differs, too, with Kidman opting for Femme Fatale, while Roberts prefers the Girl Next Door.

Each of their film credit also fall in a different genre. Kidman plays more mature roles while Roberts is popularly known for her romantic-comedy films. Though both actresses have shown versatility, it is Kidman who was able to bag more nominations and awards compared to Roberts. On the other hand, Roberts films are critically-acclaimed blockbusters.
