Leonardo DiCaprio | Alan Turing – The Imitation Game
The Imitation Game is a 2014 biopic of Alan Turing, a brilliant mathematician who helped decipher the codes of Nazis and helped the British win the war. The film earned warm regards to the audience and garnered a hefty credit score in the box office. Benedict Cumberbatch played the lead role and starred next to Keira Knightley, Matthew Good, Charles Dance, and Mark Strong.
Initially, Leonardo DiCaprio was instilled to play the role but backed out for some reason. Subsequently, the film was put on the edge as Warner Bros. backed out upon knowing Leo’s disinterest in the movie. It was later picked up and cast Benedict Cumberbatch to play the epic role. Accordingly, critics agree to have Leo taken out of the film as it may not do good for his career. No regrets for the producers of the film as Benedict gave justice to the role, which suited his acting caliber.
