Harvey Lee Majors, known simply as Lee Majors, is an American actor made prominent for his films and shows from the 60s to the 80s. Heath Barkley in the American television Western series The Big Valley, Colonel Steve Austin in the American television science fiction action series The Six Million Dollar Man, and Colt Seavers in the American television action series The Fall Guy were, among others, characters played by Majors throughout the 60s to 80s.

The now-82-year-old Majors was born in the Detroit suburb of Wyandotte, Michigan. Carl and Alice Yeary, his parents, passed away in separate vehicle accidents. From then on, Majors was adopted by his uncle and aunt, Harvey and Mildred Yeary, when he was two years old and relocated to Middlesboro, Kentucky. Majors scored his first, without credit, part as Joan Crawford’s unfaithful husband in Strait-Jacket at the age of 25.
