JANET JACKSON – $190 Million

Janet Jackson and Halle Berry may look alike, with many confusing them from time to time, but Janet has her own stellar career to her name. She rose to stardom, alongside her family, during her younger years as part of the Jackson 5. She then carved a niche for herself with her third album, Control, earning her several awards and nominations from Billboard Awards, Grammys, and American Music Awards. By the end of the 1990s, Janet was ranked second to Mariah Carey.

She has also dabbled in movies where she starred in Poetic Justice, Why Did I Get Married?, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, and For Colored Girls.  It could be said that both Halle and she are familiar with acting, but the latter has certainly made headlines in the music industry, which earned her a net worth of $190 million. Her son, who seems to have picked her family’s penchant for music, will most likely not need student loans in the future.
