Several of today’s celebrities had mundane jobs before they lived a life under the spotlight. One such example is the now-influential rap artist Cardi B, who once worked at a food store and as a dancer to settle her personal loans. Fortunately, all that hard work paid off and Cardi B is now one of the most well-known names in the industry.

Over the years, Cardi B has also had her fair share of tattoos. One of them is of her sister’s name, Hennessy, written on her bicep. She has cherished the beautiful time she spent with her sister. Another is of the word “Belkis,” located on her right wrist. Although the artist hasn’t explained its relevance to the public, some people believe it’s a play on Cardi’s real name, Belcalis.
